Was zeigt ambulart?

Die ecuadorianische und die mexikanische Filmlandschaft wird von - häufig rein kommerziell ausgerichteten – US-amerikanischen Produktionen dominiert. In den Sälen der großen Kinoketten finden unabhängige Filmproduktionen, das Autoren- oder das Europäische Kino höchst selten einen Platz, ebenso wenig wie im Fernsehen. Eine alternative Kinoszene, wie jene in Deutschland, findet man kaum. Den oftmals recht jungen unabhängigen Filmemachern fehlt es vor allem an Foren und Räumen zur Präsentation und zum Austausch.

ambulart hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, das Schattendasein dieser Filme zu beenden.
